Every year, malaria continues to affect millions of people. Beyond the statistics, this project focuses on the human side of the disease — portraits of women and children, and stories of resilience.
These images were taken between 2015 and 2025 while supporting malaria programs in several countries across West Africa.

Mamelles area, Dakar

For nearly six years, I regularly went out to meet my neighbors in the Mamelles area of Dakar.
Living in temporary settlements surrounded by luxury villas, they were part of a neighborhood undergoing rapid transformation. Through these encounters, I documented everyday life in a changing neighborhood.
